Há dez anos atrás, um português chamado Paulo teve esta boa ideia de criar um sítio na internet onde pessoas do mundo inteiro podem registar-se para enviar e receber postais. Não são feitas trocas directas de postais, a não ser que se escolha essa opção, em geral o que acontece é uma escolha aleatória feita pelo site.
Eu que sempre tive um fascínio por cartas e postais, o que me levou a ser "carteira" durante dois anos em Lisboa, adorei descobrir o Postcrossing. Fico sempre com um sorriso ao chegar a casa e ter postais à minha espera, de sítios e pessoas que não conheço.

Postcrossing is a project that celebrates ten years old today.
Ten years ago a portuguese named Paulo had this nice idea of creating a website where we can register and send and receive postcards from random places in the world.
I'm fascinated about postcards and letters. I even worked as postwoman in Lisbon for two years.
I love Postcrossing! It makes me smile when I come home and get postcards from unknown people and places where I've never been.
